Our iconic milk truffles, made with FINO DE AROMA 55% cacao milk chocolate perfectly blend strong cacao notes and a creamy mousse with delicate caramel and buttery notes. For a blissful moment of indulgence, we have added a hint of Blackthorn unrefined salt. The cacao beans for our truffles are sourced from Arauca, a region with 14,000 planted hectares located in the extreme northeast of Colombia bordering Venezuela. Cocoa crops grow between 150 and 600 meters above sea level in a maze of small islands formed by rivers and accessible by boats and canoes. These fertile grounds create an exceptional cacao that exults the character of this terroir. Its fertile soils are used for livestock and agriculture on small islands formed by rivers.
The FINO DE AROMA denomination is an International Cocoa Organisation classification, which describes an especially exquisite aroma and flavour. Between 6 and 7% of the world’s cocoa is classified as cacao Fino De Aroma, and is predominantly grown in equatorial countries, such as Colombia, Ecuador & Peru.
